I’m Ben Lokitz, an N1 League and varsity soccer player, and I created SURGE because I experienced the problem myself.

Playing at a high level means constantly pushing your body — training sessions, games, recovery, repeat. I was always looking for ways to perform better and recover faster, but most hydration products on the market felt like they were made for everyone except serious soccer players.

A lot of drinks were packed with sugar, filled with unnecessary ingredients, or just didn’t actually help me feel prepared for the intensity of a match. I realized there was a gap in the market for something designed specifically for footballers — hydration focused on performance, endurance, and recovery.

That’s why I started SURGE.

My goal is simple: create products that help players stay sharp, recover better, and perform at their highest level for all 90 minutes and beyond.
